Running from home, Shock's hat bent back as she ran. Why was she running? No particular reason. She happened to be bored, wanting to do... Something. Anything.
The place was quiet, not unusual for night time, but it was just... Too quiet. Shock didn't like it. She liked the loud noises, the cheering of the crowds at Halloween. With the Heartless around, everyone made sure to stay out of the way. Really annoying really. Her gaze ran over the old fountain and she sat down, letting her fingers swirl the cool water quietly. A frown passed over her features and she began splashing her hand, merely to cause noise.
Becoming bored, Shock splashed her hand one last time before jumping down from the fountain and crossing her arms over her chest. As she moved, her hat wobbled, bent then straightened. She pulled her mask off and gazed around, her sight caught the movement of something and she pulled a pumpkin bomb out, just to be ready in case it was someone... Good. She hated good. It was what she was taught by Boogie to hate. She waited for the figure to come into light, so she could see them better.

Naminé had ventured into Halloween town mindlessly. She had her drawing pad with her, and her pencil was tucked behind her ear. Her blond hair fell down to her shoulders, fluttering slightly in the breeze that danced through the dank smelling town of Halloween. She was really just passing through, she didn't speak to people, and tried to avoid fighting at any cost.
She had stopped, ducking behind a set of fences that didn't hide her in the slightest, when she saw Shock. One of Boogie's Boys. Naminé had always been confused as to why the three were call Boogie's Boys when Shock was a girl.
Naminé was still stood behind the fence when the small crazy haired girl withdrew a pumpkin bomb. It glowed as she held it. The girl behind the fence prayed that the fence would be able to hold back the explosion, should the Boogie's Boys member choose to throw it.

Making a noise of annoyance, Shock eyed the bomb, then looked at the figure and she grinned. Tossing it from one hand to the other, she then tossed it towards the figure, merely for something to do. She wondered whether the fence would stop the blast, here's hoping so, would be much more fun.
"Come out, come out, whoever you aarree." She sung before the pumpkin blew up. She grinned and giggled at the sound. Finally, something to stop the quiet, something to cause some fun. She wondered, briefly, whether the person was alive, then realised she didn't actually care too much, minus the absence of someone to talk to, or take the mickey out of... There were plenty of people to do that to though.

Naminé squeaked and took startled steps backwards. The fence rattled and swayed with the impact of a bomb. But it didn't seem ready to fall yet. The black metal was even more twisted now it had been struck by a bomb. The girl was unharmed though, barely. Her papers were singed and her pencil was laying broken and cracked on the floor. She frowned and held the paper close to her, like a damaged toy she wished to protect before getting it fixed.
"If I come out, you're going to throw another bomb, aren't you?" Naminé called over the damaged fence and rubble of the blown up pumpkin.

Tough question. Shock considered this for a few seconds, being silent for the time, before answering. When she did, she was being careful as to what words to pick.
"Depends who you are. For if you are someone I could never see as a threat, I would have no good reason to." She spoke, rocking backwards and forwards on the balls of her feet. She put her mask on softly before tilting her head from one side to the other continuously, almost as if there were some tune that only she could hear. Her hat moved with her head, bending and wobbling before she stopped and the tall fabric straightened up, standing tall. Her arms crossed themselves over her chest once more while she waited impatiently.

She was unsure for a small amount of time, before she eventually sucked in a small breath and moved away from the fence. If another bomb was thrown, she'd have no choice but to run out of the way. Or to leap. Leaping looked silly. She'd run.
Eventually, Naminé stepped out into view. Her dress brushed softly against her legs, the white material soft against her pale canvas of skin. "Hello." She called softly, as her blue sandles, wrapped around her ankles and down to her toes, carried her forwards.

Seeing the blond hair, Shock's expression, though hidden from view, turned into annoyance. What was this... This... Blond, doing here? Didn't she know the place?
"Hello." She said somewhat stiffly, as though it had been forced out. She tightened her arms over her chest protectively and shuffled, somewhat restlessly, in her dress, simply for something to do. A Heartless moved silently past the other side of the fountain and Shock's gaze moved to it, her attention on that as opposed to the girl. She didn't bother to cover up this fact, there was no point, really.

Naminé was used to having the attention drawn away from her and to more pressing matters. So it didn't matter too much to her when the only person around withdrew her attention and aimed it at someone else. The blond knew what sort of Heartless it was, and what the damage it could do was. It was only a solider. Taken down in a few hits.
Naminé looked to Shock, anticipating what she would do. She assumed the girl with the hat would use a bomb. Who knew with the small, hyper-active, cold-hearted little one. Naminé held her free hand out, summoning her staff to protect herself. The blue staff was firm and weighted in her hand. "It's only a solider.." She informed Shocked, smiling to herself softly.

Shock shrugged. As long as it didn't harm her, she wouldn't harm it... Or would she? Oh, now she couldn't decide and she stayed silent. When she heard Namine's words, she frowned behind her mask. She knew which type it was and didn't care too much. They were basically shadows, in Shock's mind.
"So where's the army?" She retorted, turning her body to the fountain more than to Namine, her head was still looking at the blond girl, however, just so that she knew where the girl was and what she would do. Getting another bomb, Shock began rolling it from one hand to the other. It wouldn't go off in her hands, she knew it wouldn't. She controlled it. It rolled from her hands and into the fountain's cold, glowing water by accident. Her mouth formed an 'o' before she began laughing hysterically. The bomb exploded, water splashed up and out of the fountain and she continued to laugh as the water rained down. However, it had alerted the Heartless of the two girl's presence, and it began to move over to them. Whoops.

Naminé bit on her lower lip. Some of the exploding water had splattered down onto Naminé's dress, staining it with the murky green. Not fun. Still, she had other dresses much the same.
Wiggling her bare toes out of habit, she watched the solider clank over towards them. She raised her staff, the end glowing and sparking with electricity. Metal conducted electricity well.
Although, this was all quite out of character for Naminé. She was usually one to shy away from fights. But it was just one rogue Heartless...

Watching the Heartless moving over to them, Shock stopped laughing and pulled out another pumpkin bomb. Who to attack? Such a hard decision. Namine was good, but the Heartless was dangerous... Okay, not that hard, but she didn't act yet. Best to see what the Heartless would do first, who it would go for. Her mind ticked over, thinking about who she would attack depending on who the Heartless went for. She could just sit back and watch, she supposed, but where's the fun in that?
Shifting her weight from one foot to the other restlessly, Shock's impatience shone through as she shuffled, moved and fidgeted. She couldn't help but wonder how long it took for the Heartless to decide and act. She could count, but she was busy. She was alert. She was ready. Just one, right? Yeah, just one... Or two...

A Thunder attack brewed, the staff reading Naminé's intentions as she gripped the weapon with a stern expression. While Shock seemed indecisive, Naminé knew what to do. She wasn't one for fighting, but her staff was ready, and at the time, so was she. She kept a hold of the staff as the Heartless clanked towards Shock, then changed direction and came over to her. Or rather, nearer her.
Her expression becoming increasingly more stern as a yellow glow also increased around her Mage's Staff. When Naminé whispered 'Thunder' it was really just a breath, an exhale with a few letters that got carried away within seconds. But it was enough. Several jolts of lightening tore from the sky, in a ruler-straight line, sprinting for the Heartless.
Naminé's blue eyes continued to stay focused on the Heartless, watching as the lightening drove through it's body, penetrating it's dark form, beginning to tear it apart. She knew that the attack alone wouldn't defeat it, and looked to Shock. What she did would make or break the situation. Naminé didn't fancy returning home with damage.

When it had began moving over to her, Shock had almost raised the bomb but it moved to the other girl and she decided what she'd do. Jumping onto the wall of the fountain, merely to be higher, Shock aimed the bomb at the damaged Heartless' legs, hoping that by blowing up the legs it wouldn't be able to move. She'd forgotten about her Keyblade, in all honesty, and was mainly focusing on the bomb and the Heartless. It blew up and Shock didn't bother to look at the damage it'd done as she saw another Heartless walked, clanking, over to the pair, more for Shock than for Namine though.
Conjuring her Keyblade, she let a smile be dragged onto her face at the sense of power she had, the sense that she was more powerful than anything else. She was glad of the power and she began thinking of the Blizzara spell she knew while the second Heartless moved towards her.

As Shock's bomb collided with the Heartless, Naminé watched as the Heartless' body became nothing more than a black cloud, dissolving into the air, returning to the nothing it once was. As she turned to look to Shock, to thank her for helping her, she saw the next Heartless clanking over. The blond made no move as she watched Shock wield a stunning, shimmering Keyblade. Apparently she knew what to do, so Naminé stepped back and waited for the cold chill that had suddenly arisen, to pass.
